Global Neurosciences Institute’s (GNI) Inaugural Neurosciences Conference provides neurosciences and other health care clinicians with the opportunity for innovative learning about the latest advances in neurosciences care from leaders in the field.
The program will feature lectures from national leaders in neurological issues such as stroke, aneurysms, NPH, and neuro-oncology, as well as advances in the field of neuro-plastics, neurologic emergency medicine, and neuro- pharmacy. Industry professionals will address hospital safety scores, uses of medical marijuana, and a panel of experts will discuss the crisis of hospital closures. The agenda will offer hands-on learning for neurosurgical treatments, neurological disorders, and learning skilled sessions for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and nursing professionals. Topics will include advanced neuro assessment, cognitive disorder treatment, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurocritical care pearls, stroke care, and spinal fusion.

The conference is designed to enhance the skills of physicians, APPs, nurses, residents and other healthcare professionals practicing in a variety of specialties including neurology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine, primary care and rehabilitation medicine. Topics will highlight the most recent advances and evidence-based practice in neurosciences empowering the care provider to more effectively manage complex neuroscience patients in clinical practice.
Upon completion of the conference activity, participants will be able to:
Identify current and future treatments for stroke patients
Explain hospital safety scores and their relevance to improve patient outcomes
Recognize the latest research and evidence-based practice related to treatment of aneurysms
Describe how to perform advanced neurological assessment
Apply distinct approaches to improve neuroscience care for neurological patients
