Global Neurosciences Institute presents
Advanced Stroke Life Support®
The Premiere Course for Stroke Education
This course is used to train thousands of EMS personnel, nurses and physicians from hundreds of institutions across the US and abroad. ASLS provides a unique neurologic assessment tool used by your clinical practice, and satisfies education requirements for stroke center certification. The new Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS®) Blended Learning Course, co-developed by the American Heart Association and the Gordon Center for Simulation and Innovation in Medical Education, will educate healthcare professionals to identify, evaluate, and manage patients with stroke.
Blended Learning Format:
Blended Learning courses consist of both an online, self-directed portion, followed by an in-person skills testing session with an ASLS Instructor. In the online component, learners follow a continuously adapting learning path that is personalized by their own inputs, for not only their performance, but also their self-reported confidence levels. In-person skills tests will challenge learners to apply the skills and knowledge obtained from the online portion to correctly perform neurologic exams, diagnose, and manage patients with stroke.
